We had a wonderful day celebrating ‘Grandparents Day’ which was held in our school on Friday, December 1st after a lovely mass in the church.
The aim of Grandparents Day is to honour grandparents and celebrate them. It gives the children the opportunity to show love and gratitude for their grandparents. It helps children become more aware of their grandparents strengths and hobbies as well as the information and the guidance older people can offer.
Children from all classes performed songs, stories and poems for the large gathering.
The children and parents association brought in some delicious cakes and buns which went down a treat with everyone!
