Croagh N.S. is located in Croagh, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, Ireland. The school is situated just off the N21 between Adare and Rathkeale. Croagh is approximately 20 km from Limerick City.
It is a co-educational school. There are five teachers on staff, consisting of a teaching principal, three class teachers and a learning support/resource teacher. Visiting teachers provide additional literacy and numeracy support. The school also has a special needs assistant and a part-time secretary. The school functions under the patronage of the Bishop of Limerick. Under his auspices and in consultation with the Department of Education and Science, a Board of Management is appointed to run the school.
School begins at 9:00a.m. and finishes at 2:40 p.m.
The infant day finishes at 1:40 pm.
The school uniform consists of navy trousers/skirt/pinafore, a navy jumper/cardigan, a blue shirt and a striped tie. The school tracksuit is available in the John Dinnage’s shop in Rathkeale.
