Remembering 1916
The Irish flag was raised at Croagh N.S. on Tuesday March 15th. To mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising, a number of events were organised in the school. The staff and students wore costumes inspired by 1916. Here are some images from the day. Well done to everybody who showed great creativity with their outfit, and to all those who helped put the costumes together.
The Voice Of Ireland
We were delighted that Emmett from ‘The Voice of Ireland’ visited the school on Wednesday. He sang for the children and answered lots of questions. Thanks to Emmett for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us and also to Emmet’s family for bringing Emmett to meet us all. We wish him all the best with the competition on Sunday night. We will be giving Emmett our number one vote.
