West Final Champions

Congratulations to the indoor hurling team who emerged as West Limerick Champions in this year’s indoor hurling competition. The boys travelled to Caherconlish for the County Finals on March 26th and finished in third place.

Indoor camogie

On Friday 21st March , the girls from third, fourth and fifth represented Croagh N.S. at the indoor camogie blitz in Newcastle West. The girls displayed fantastic skill but were unfortunate in that they met a very strong team from Templeglantine N.S. who emerged victorious. Well done girls.

Indoor Hurling Competition

The boys in third and fourth class were in top form at the Indoor Hurling Blitz at Newcastle West Community Centre on March 19th. They emerged as winners in their first three matches against Dromcollogher, Rathkeale and Ardagh. They will proceed to the West Final in this competition. Best of luck boys. We are very proud of ye.

Confirmation

Congratulations to the pupils in fifth and sixth class who were confirmed by Bishop Leahy on March 6th during a ceremony at St. John the Baptist Church, Croagh. A very enjoyable day was had by all. The children have chosen two charities to donate to with some of their Confirmation money. These are Milford Hospice and The Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin. Well done boys and girls.
